Management Accountant 

Responsibilities 

• The main duties of this role will include but not be limited to the following:
• To represent Finance on the Strategic Management committee’s of designate businesses.
• To represent Finance on any sub-committee’s as directed by the Chief Financial Officer or Strategic Management committee’s.
• Prepare, review and comment on financial performance of the above Business functions.
• Responsible for all financial data and reviews for the above functions such as Balance sheets, Suspense items and Inter group accounts.
• Preparation of ad-hoc reports as directed by the Chief Financial Officer or the Functional Strategic Management committee’s.
• Preparation and agreement of Financial plans and forecasts for the Business functions stated above.
• Preparation of Annual Financial statements and audit schedules for Legal entities within the above business functions.
• Form part of Finance project teams to tackle Finance impacted projects.
• Review and authorisation of payment of company expenditure up to agreed limits.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Part or Qualified Accountant (ACCA,ACA,CIMA) or looking to qualify.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Be able to think strategically and have an understanding of key business drivers and current market conditions.
• Ability to work under pressure (time).
• Must be accurate and timely for all reporting requirements.
• Time management must be excellent as many tasks will be on going simultaneously.
