Client Relationship Executive Print E-mail

This person will be responsible for assisting the Client Relationship Principal with their portfolio of high value, blue chip clients, potentially covering the spectrum of the divisions’ service lines (share plans / international pension plans / deferred compensation plans / family benefit trusts and employee benefit trusts).  The executive will act as a secondary point of contact for these clients and will support the CRP in developing existing and potential relationships by delivering the efficient and timely administration of documents, instructions and other associated paperwork. This person will liaise with other teams within the division and throughout the bank on a regular basis regarding client issues.



RESPONSIBILITIES

The main duties of this role will include but not be limited to the following:


  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of timetables for key client events e.g. annual contributions /  vesting of awards
  • Receiving correspondence and ensuring action is taken in accordance with timetable
  • Liaising with intermediaries to ensure transactions are concluded with appropriate paperwork in place
  • Responding to/investigating client queries
  • Documenting trustee decision making
  • Assisting with the maintenance of a programme of regular client / intermediary visits
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposal documents for tender
  • Updating fee proposals for existing clients
  • Assisting with client / member communications
  • Ensuring regular liaison with other teams
  • Assisting with monthly fee preparation
  • Assisting with the monitoring the portfolio’s debtor position
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Educated to A – level standard or equivalent
  • Holds / willing to study towards a professional qualification
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision. Good bookkeeping skills
  • Completer/finisher - ability to see tasks through to the end
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Client handling skills - experience of dealing with corporate clients desirable
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively
  • Good team player
  • Willingness to work longer hours when required
  • Flexible
  • Ability to understand company / trust structures
  • Ability to understand trust deeds and other associated legal documentation
  • Competent IT skills with sound knowledge of word processing/spreadsheets
