HNW Client Service Assistant Print E-mail

Responsible for providing full support to a team of Wealth Management Consultants and generally assisting with the wealth management of a portfolio of high net worth clients.  Acting as a supporting point of contact to all clients and assisting in the planning and execution of investment and sales.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Relationship Management
  • Responding to client telephone calls, e-mails, letters and faxes
  • Assist Wealth Management Consultants in achieving sales targets
  • Assist Wealth Management Consultant in reporting back to Head of Private Banking on various sales related figures and all requirements under the HNW Strategy
  • Ensure that all Risk & Compliance procedures are adhered to in respect of the Wealth Management Consultants portfolio of clients
  • Provide cover for the Wealth Management Consultant during holidays/business trips/courses/internal meetings/illness
  • Assist with Client mail shots
  • Inputting/verifying data for internal anti money laundering programme
  • Monitoring and taking action on all service requests for Wealth Management Consultant
  • Record all Activities in Siebel or on the appropriate client handling system
  • Payment chasers/investigations
  • Payment call backs
  • Investigation of queries
  • Load Sales Opportunities into Siebel and or Sales Tracking
  • Managing the Banking and Investment Administrative requirements, in close liaison with Middle Office and other areas of the business, for the Wealth Management Consultant’s portfolio of clients
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Proven communication and inter-personal skills at all levels is necessary in dealing with clients and colleagues by telephone and in person
  • Understanding of fundamentals of buying/selling currencies
  • ECDL – or intention to undertake ASAP
  • Excellent organisational skills required to process demanding workload within required timescales
  • Understanding of money laundering legislation and procedures
  • Ability to cope under pressure essential to manage heavy flow of work whilst ensuring attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to deliver ad hoc project work to specific timescales
  • Desire to fulfil a position where much responsibility is undertaken, often for the most valuable clients of the bank
    Desire to develop own relationship management skills by working closely with the Wealth Management Consultant
  • A positive attitude with particular focus on putting clients first and willingness to work additional hours where required
    Ability to work within a team and manage own workload with minimum supervision
