Relationship Manager for a portfolio of Private Clients maintaining and deepening client relationships, giving special focus to the investment and personal finance needs and objectives.
ResponsibilitiesRelationship Management for Private Clients Administration of Private Clients ensuring full understanding of client needs and objectives Provide high quality and professional advice to clients on all financial aspects and instruments In accordance with private clients profile. Actively promote both Group and approved investment products Develop investment strategies together with the clientBuild, widen and deepen existing relationships with clients in order to increase “share of wallet” and revenue Authorisation of payments and foreign exchange Authorisation of securities trades Responsible for all administration relating to the Relationship Manager’s portfolio of clients – assisted by Administrator and other Relationship Managers-Maintain up to date KYC on all clients Meet with clients in accordance with the Bank’s Client Visitation PolicyUndertake the placement and maturity of deposits and foreign exchange Placing, monitoring and advising of execution of security deals for clientsLiaison with Securities Department on all securities corporate actions Deal with client payments and general enquiriesPreparation of all credit related line requests for Credit Approval, both casual and formal Opening new accounts, pursuing KYC information/documentation and closing accountsInforms management immediately on all unusual matters Ensure CPD log is maintained throughout the year and documented, thereby ensuring that certification and licensing requirements for the role are maintained Requirements:Professional & Degree (or equivalent) University Graduate (desirable) A suitable Banking or Management qualification An approved investment advice qualification under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998, such as IAC, IMC, FPC or similar Experience in a client facing role, preferably gained in the banking and financial services industry e.g. bank or investment office, fund manager, Private Banker Familiarisation with investments, foreign exchange and derivatives Awareness of tax issues affecting offshore clients Possess skills to deal with the complex investment and tax advice requirements of our client base, with the assistance of the specialist teams with Group Private Banking Entrepreneurial and commercial: able to profitably pull together and deliver our proposition Ambitious: eagerness to learn and performance orientated Presentation skills: ability to articulate sophisticated concepts to a varied audience Advanced knowledge of Windows, Excel and PowerPoint in addition to knowledge of other banking systems Ref No: 2031 Or call Sarah on (01534) 83 24 63.
