Client Reporting Accountant Print E-mail

To be responsible for the preparation of financial reporting information within the offshore group and to assist with the Jersey Entity monthly reporting pack.

Responsibilities 

  • Deliver timely and precise financial reporting (IFRS & USGAAP) to Central Finance by way of monthly submission process.
  • Prepare the annual statuary financial statements in liason with the auditors, for the entities.
  • Prepare and submit a number of regulatory returns.
  • Work alongside the Business Support Departments to maintain an accurate and complete gereral ledger.
  • Assist Jersey Finance team with finance projects, daily tasks and ad hoc requests.
  • Prepare ad hoc management reporting, on request, to assist the Finance department to meet their business goals.
  • To maintain key operating procedures for all activiies undertaken.

  • Ensures that information is correctly processed and that work complies with relevant internal / external rules, procedures and regulatory requirements.  Checks work and corrects mistakes promptly.

Eduation and Experience

Essential 

  • Part qualified / Newly qualified Accountant.
  • In depth understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy, particulary with MS Office.

Preferred

  • Experience of regulatory reporting of licensed entities.
  • Commentary and analysis experience. 
  • Lnowledge of Tm1 or simular system.
