To be responsible for administering a caseload of Trusts and Companies under the overall supervision of a Trust Manager
The role:- The provision of an excellent service by day to day contact with and by understanding the circumstances and needs of beneficial owners, settlors, beneficiaries. Contact also with their advisers and professional agents in connection with legal, tax and other issues. This necessitates strong interpersonal skills, an excellent telephone manner and letter writing skills
- Ensuring that trusts and companies are administered in accordance with the relevant laws, the trust deed and the Memorandum and Articles of Association and our clients own rules and procedures to ensure that risks are minimised.
- Some supervision and training of lower grade staff, occasional project work and supporting other members of the department as required.
- The successful candidate will ideally have already have attained his/her STEP Foundation certificate and be well on the way (if not already there) to completing the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management (or an alternate equivalent qualification). It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have also been working in a trust company environment for at least 3 to 5 years.
