To assist the management accountants in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
RESPONSIBILITIES- Team member of the Banks BI Management Information (MI) group under the direction of the Finance Manager.
Assist in the preparation and input of journals to the General ledger. Assist in the preparation of the monthly Profit & Loss and balance sheet schedules. - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of various monthly general ledger reconciliation schedules eg. fixed assets and gain/loss event schedules.
- Preparation and maintenance of various monthly general ledger analysis schedules eg legal provisions and professional costs.
To respond to management information questions that may arise under the direction of the Finance Manager. - Ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Finance Supervisor
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure (time) - Must be accurate and timely for all reporting requirements
- Time management must be excellent as many tasks will be on going simultaneously
