Purpose- Responsible for identifying cross-selling opportunities from the existing client base.
Delegate tasks to more junior staff within the group. Ensure that all administration and client service issues are attended to in accordance with the department service standards and company procedures manual(s) in force at any given time. Attendance to correspondence and telephone contact with clients and/or their advisers on all matters in a timely and efficient manner. Identify and utilise opportunities to cross sell banks services to clients and their advisers. Ensure that accounts relating to his/her portfolio of trusts and companies are prepared in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with agreed requirements. Responsible for providing any other relevant information to the clients and/or their advisers or to third parties at the request of the client. Responsible for the efficient day to day management of all the clients affairs in accordance with the terms of the appointment including the maintenance of all relevant Trust/Company records for the cases held by the relationship team.Maintenance of statutory records. Produce data for regulatory bodies. Complete tasks that arise as a result of the Director undertaking client reviews and other internal control routines in a timely and efficient manner. Ongoing cash management in respect of portfolios of Trusts and Companies managed by the team, including monitoring of cash balances and overdrafts in accordance with the department policy. Have basic tax awareness. Endeavour to meet the financial results for the Trusts and Companies under management. Ensure that all fees for the portfolio are charged and taken on a timely basis. Ensure that the book-keeping on the portfolio is kept up to date Provide on the job training and assistance to more junior staff. Contribute to overall effectiveness of department by interaction/communication with colleagues. Identify training requirements for the other members of the team.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Hold or be studying for a relevant professional qualification.
Generally have at least 4 years experience in Trust and Company administration Possess organisational/prioritisation skills. Possess good interpersonal skills to allow for a good relationship with clients and colleagues. As a result of study and experience possess a sound knowledge of Trust Administration including the tax ramifications of various structures. Preparation of accounts. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work using own initiative and make decisions within corporate policies. Good understanding of the company’s IT systems and Microsoft Products. Ability to delegate. Flexible.
