To lead a specialist group with a variety of disciplines and personally provide specialist expertise, in order that clients receive advice and service of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:Act as a central point of reference for staff and clients on complex technical and procedural queries/problems/proposals. Identify & implement new policies and maintain existing policies, controlling, monitoring and maintaining an overview of all matters relating to compliance, risk management and the unit’s caseload. Seek and build new client relationships and maintain existing relationships, representing both own specialist unit and the wider organisation where appropriate, to develop business opportunities. Lead and motivate staff, gaining their commitment and enthusiasm to the achievement of unit objectives. Ensure all staff are trained developed and appraised effectively. Identify and pass on leads for cross selling opportunities Monitor and control the unit’s budgets, ensuring performance standards are met. Overall responsibility for ensuring scope and terms of engagement are kept up to date, properly reflects the services client requires. In addition ensure the terms of engagement are adhered to. Monitor and control client billing arrangements Maintain overall responsibilities for client bookkeeping Ensure effective liaison with Accounting and Tax teams regarding timing of delivery of accounts and tax compliance requirements Ensure effective liaison between staff and Senior Management.
