To provide a high level of technical expertise in the design and implementation of Microsoft Active Directory services. The Job holder will also provide technical input on general IT support topics as a 2nd level of support for the Channel Islands Helpdesk team and a technology lead with specific technology related projects.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist in the configuration and deployment of Windows 2000 Server and Active Directory, to best effect and minimising the administration tasks - Carry out daily procedures, such as backups in respect of other systems - Participate in other system projects as reqired - Maintain detailed system operational documentation - Bring instances of operational risks to the attention of line managers and recomment control measures and improvements - Provide technical knowledge for the deployment of any new infrastructure requirements Experience Required:- Expertise in Windows server administration and Active Directory implementation - Proven experience in deploying a Windows Active Directory domain from start to finish - Excellent understanding of Exchange 2000 and administration - Firm understanding of SQL server and SQL Query language - Excellent understanding of Windows 200 server * 2003 server - Good interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building - Self motivated and directed To Apply:If you are interested in this role then please do not hesitate to contact Loraine or Sarah on 01534 832463 where they will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
