Directly responsible for a team of trust and company administrators servicing a wide high net worth client base whose accounts will consist of a variety of offshore banking services of trusts, companies and portfolio management.
Responsibilities:

Protect, promote and enhance the companies reputation.
Maintain standards of service consistent with a premier Private Bank whilst protecting the Bank’s interest.
Utilising clear and concise objectives, lead, manage and motivate a focused team of trust administrators using a variety of leadership styles to encourage a pro-active approach to existing clients and potential prospects.
To proactively enhance and develop relationships so as to identify and follow up new business opportunities.
Ensure that the accounts are administered in accordance with the trust deed and administration agreements and where necessary liaise with professional advisors such as accountants, lawyers and investment advisors.
Work for the long-term benefit of clients, Group Private Banking and the company when negotiating and booking business.  Manage the client base to ensure revenue generated meets the required targets.
Lead a team of administrators and ensure that they work as a co-ordinated and efficient unit whilst encouraging subordinates to reach their full potential by giving guidance and support regularly.
Be fully knowledgeable in respect of products and services offered by Group Private Banking so as to be able to guide introduction of business to other parts of the Group.
Promote teamwork.  Ensure that all members of the team are encouraged to co-operate internally and externally in pursuit of business goals.  Encourage open communication (upwards and downwards), identification of “alternatives” and create a healthy team spirit.
Using properly planned and implemented annual and interim appraisals, ensure that there is a comprehensive training and development programme for each team member and this should have direct relevance to the career aspirations of the individual concerned.
Ensure that all internal and Group procedural guidelines are complied with.  Maintain personal competence and training to meet requirements of Jersey legislation, Group Financial Services Audit (‘GFSA’) and Group Private Banking (‘GPB’) standards.  Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved.
